The remains of the greek walls are conserved only for
the lenght of 11 metres. Of remarkable importance is the
sixteenth-century castle of the poet Petar Hektorovich
with its characteristic arcade fishpond.
We suggest to visit also the Parish Church of Saint Steven,
whose construction started in 1605 on the same site of the oldest precedent and homonymous church, and where it is possible to admire the baptismal font of the precedent temple and
a wonderful triptyc of Francesco da Santacroce.

Stari Grad, one of the oldest european towns, is proud of its tradition of 130 years of organized tourism.
Due to its special position (it is enclosed on the one side with the land and the fields of lavender and vineyards, and on the other side it is protected by the sea), Stari Grad has a special tourist attractiveness and it is one of the most visited holiday
resorts on the Adriatic.
